The Baltimore Orioles have reportedly agreed to a one-year deal worth $2.25 million with outfielder Delmon Young, according to Roch Kubackto of MASN.
Young is a true journeyman, changing teams 5 times since 2011. Last season with Baltimore, he batted .302/.337/.442 (120 OPS+) with 7 home runs and 30 RBI over 255 plate appearances.
Young will likely keep his role filling in for outfielders, or compete for a job after the departure of Nick Markakis. The Orioles have been quiet this off season, which is a pattern that looks like it will continue.
Over his 9-year career, Young has hit .283/.317/.425 (99 OPS+) with 107 home runs and 550 RBI.
