The Minnesota Twins have reportedly agreed to a one-year, $10.5 million deal with Torii Hunter, per Ken Rosenthal.
Hunter began his career in Minnesota. He was apparently very close to signing with Texas before he was offered a larger deal with Minnesota.
Last year, Hunter posted a .28
6/.319/.446 line with 17 home runs and 83 RBI. Over his 18 year career, he is a .279/.334/.465 hitter with 5 All-Star Game appearances.
Hunter is a perfect fit in the Twins lineup, as he can fill a hole in right field after Oswaldo Arcia’s mediocre season.
